I just read the article attached by Talana -- so well written and well expressed, I loved it. Such a great article for people to read and understand the decision of organ donation. James' family was so sweet, and his lungs seemed so well-suited for you -- both adventurous go-getters! You are honestly one of my heros in so many ways -- the latest being swimming & biking on your cast when so many of us would use that as a convenient excuse to take it easy :) Congratulations Ana on being 8 years transplanted, and here's to many many more (20 more to go to match your CF time, right? I can't wait to see you and Isa in Pittsburgh in a few weeks! Please bring pictures with you of your awesome road trip--I LOVE the details you put in your journal entries. My heart and lungs just turned 12 on Saturday. I have officially lived longer with these organs than my donor did. Sounds morbid but it's true. Hugs! Kim :-) P.S.
